Low self image and self esteem are the roots of not loving yourself. Almost 95% of you reading this believed in conditional love at some stage in your lives. This love puts limits on us by believing the only way to have the pleasure of experiencing love is by receiving it from somebody else. That is known and proven to be a recipe for misery. When you don’t love yourself, what you are really doing is telling the universe that you are undeserving of any vibrational match to experience pure love.

Truth is, love exists from the inner core of each human being and living thing. It is always present. For some of us it is so deeply sealed by layers of hurt, pain and low self worth it seems impossible to retrieve. It may feel this way but this is not true. This article will cover some secrets about yourself you already knew before entering into this world. I am here just to remind you of it.

So let’s begin the basic process, and the secrets to radiate your soul back to life.

Say NO To Self Criticism Self criticism is that negative internal dialogue inside out minds intoxicating the soul because it lowers our self-esteem. Calling yourself fat, ugly or stupid are limiting our beliefs and stopping us from living a full abundant life. To stop self criticism, the simple answer is to be aware. Be aware of your thoughts, make a choice by turning it into something that is constructive and kind.

Seek Positivity In Everything You See And Do The wonderful thing about having a mind of your own is you have the power to change your thoughts by turning negative thoughts into positive thoughts. Learning to be positive is a skill to train your brain. Believe in yourself, know you can achieve your goals, praise yourself daily, focus on what you do want to manifest in your life, surround yourself with positive people.

Embrace The Power Of Forgiveness Making mistakes are inevitable. It is part of being human. It is essential to help us grow, and we’ve all made some in the past. Let go, forgive yourself since there is really no point carrying it with you because all it is doing is crushing your soul.

Kill The Negativity With Positive Affirmations Using positive affirmations and repeating it daily, out loud or internally can help your self-esteem grow. For example, you can repeat ” I love and accept myself just as I am unconditionally” several times a day. For more examples, click here.

Take Time Out To Be Grateful Be grateful for your uniqueness you’ve brought fourth into this world. Write a list of all the things you like about yourself. This can be as simple as having the lungs to breathe in air, for the eyes to see, for the home you have.

Let Go And Relax You need to take time out and spoil yourself once in a while. Take long baths, facials, relax at the beach. Absolutely anything that makes you feel at peace by doing something for you.

Be Good To Your BodyYou’ve heard the saying  “A healthy mind is a healthy soul”. Treat your body with love and care. It is important to keep yourself physically fit and healthy by feeding it good nutritious food and daily exercise to reduce stress, obesity and disease. Your body helps you in more ways than you are really aware so do yourself a favour a be good to it as you only have one body and not two.

Live your life with no regrets is a motto we should all be willing to seek. It is useless ruminating over the past and leading to thoughts like “if only I did this” or “if only I did that”. Fact is, the past has come and gone and there’s no point thinking about something which cannot be changed. Like everyone else, every once in a while we make mistakes. This article will help unburden the past to whatever it is stopping you from doing the things you truly desire and it will allow u to see it wasn’t all bad.

Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can’t accept your imperfections, that’s their fault” – Dr. David M. Burns

Failure is a matter of perception. In every situation there is a positive light. Mistakes are good for us, as they are there to help as learn to grow. For every mistake we make brings us further to understanding and accepting of ourselves so we can teach other people. It is a series of lessons, advancing  us to a higher way of living and loving. This is a gift. There is no use for being born with the perfect body, mind, spirit and experiences. What good would that do? What would you be able to learn from it? Life will get boring.

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes”- Mahatma Gandhi

The mistakes we go through are the exact experience we need to become who we are today. Don’t let yourself get soaked by the negativity of it all. Don’t feel terrible, and don’t call yourself stupid. Instead recognise the experience for what it is. Accept it, appreciate it, and consider what happened and why it happened the way it did. Learn from the events and move on. Be grateful you had a chance to learn something new. Life is what it is, it’s all about choices and all choices come with mistakes. Mistakes bring out the light in you, they present wisdom.

Mistakes are painful when they happen, but years later a collection of mistakes is what is called experience”- Denis Waitley

The more mistakes you make, the more wise you will be. So next time you make a mistake, smile knowing you will only get smarter and knowledgeable because of it.
